At Hankins & Sohn Plastic Surgery, we try to stay on top of advanced techniques in injectables and products available to our patients. Sculptra is one of the products that we offer at our office, which works in a slightly different way from some of the other fillers available on the market. Sculptra is a collagen stimulator, actually helping the body produce collagen, which thereby adds volume. As we age, we lose volume and fat content in our face, which can lead to a gaunt, aged appearance. Sculptra helps to reverse this process over time by stimulating your own body to create more tissue, leading to a more youthful appearance. Dr. Hankins is an advanced Sculptra trainer, constantly traveling all over the country to teach others how to inject the product safely and efficaciously. On June 7, 2012, we had the distinct pleasure of hosting another advanced Sculptra injector, renowned Swiss Aesthetic Injector and Trainer, Dr. Danny Vleggaar. Dr. Vleggaar was kind enough to demonstrate his advanced Sculptra injection techniques at our office, at 60 N. Pecos Road, Henderson, NV 89074. A number of aestheticians and physicians attended from other practices around Las Vegas, and we value the input and appreciate the attendance at this event from all of our colleagues.
